Kaká has officially been presented as a Real Madrid player this evening (Tuesday 30th June) and will wear the number “8” shirt. Over 40,000 fans turned out to greet the player, the first of the new “galáctico” era to be presented. Hundreds of journalists were also at the event which is sure to be headline news around the world.
Kaká spoke of his joy at signing for Real Madrid and revealed it was the only club he would consider joining if he ever left AC Milan.
Other presentations coming up include Raul Albiol on Thursday and of course Christiano Ronaldo the following Monday.
